FAQs

Is Dr Williams qualified to help?

This is a great question and one which we would encourage people to ask of every professional. Yes, Dr Williams is both an MD, internist (a Medical doctor who is specialized in adult health/medical issues) and a Doctor of Chinese Medicine. She brings both worlds together to bring you exceptional care.

Why don’t you take Insurance?

Conventional Medicine, teaming up with insurance companies have created an assembly line approach when it comes to medicine. We would rather take a different approach. By not taking insurance, we can take the time needed to focus on you and what is happening to your body. If specific tests are needed, these may be covered by your insurance company.

How do you marry Eastern and Western Medicine?

Being trained in both medical philosophies allows us to utilize the best in both worlds. We can take our time with our patients and get to know how their bodies are functioning. This allows us to join forces with what your body is currently doing to create healthy outcomes. We do this by employing both Chinese and Conventional medicine, working with herbs and supplements to help your body heal.

How long are the appointments?

Typically, the first appointment goes a little over an hour. We take the time to talk, ask questions, evaluate, and investigate. After the first session, each additional session are typically around 30 minutes in length.
